Update: Our application is now available. See here.

We are in the process of developing a native iPhone application for our server monitoring service, Server Density. Although there is still work to be done, I can now show you some screenshots of the interface.

Please note this is still a work in progress.

Availability

The application will only be available to paid account holders so now would be a good time to take advantage of our 30% off upgrade offer, available until the end of June 2009. Remember our 90 day money back guarantee applies to all upgrades too.

Although we do not have a release date, we are looking at a release within “weeks” rather than “months”. There will be no charge for downloading the application from the Apple App Store.

Features

The available functionality will mirror the web interface in a read-only manner. You will be able to view all your servers and the latest statistics for each. You will also be able to see the latest triggered alerts so you can pause them whilst you’re working on fixing things. We also plan to include historical graphs so you can view data over a specified date range.

The app has been built only using our API, an excellent example of how it can be used.

Push notifications

We will also be implementing Push Notifications so you can receive alerts directly to your iPhone for free, then launch the application to view the current statistics of the server.
