SSL Now Available

For extra security with our server monitoring application, Server Density, you can now access the interface via SSL. You can also configure the agent to post back all monitoring data using SSL as well.

To access the interface securely, all you need to do is use https:// to access your account. So if your account URL is http://example.serverdensity.com, just change that to https://example.serverdensity.com in your browser.

The same applies to the agent. Simply edit the agent config.cfg file to replace http:// with https:// and restart the agent. This will work on all versions and your data will instantly be posted back over encrypted HTTP. Note that if you have a firewall on your server, you will need to open port 443 instead of port 80 for this to work.
